Organizations

An organization is your top-level account in Rover Nexus — the tenant that owns your people, fleets, and shared planning assets.

What it is

Everything in Rover Nexus lives under an organization. It groups the members who use the platform and the fleets they operate, and it acts as the boundary for billing, access control, and sharing.

How it works

  • Members and roles. People you invite become members with an organization role: Owner, Admin, Member, or Viewer. The role sets what a person can do at the organization level — managing other members, settings, and fleets.
  • Fleets. An organization owns one or more fleets. It can also share a fleet it owns with another organization, or use a fleet shared with it.
  • Default fleet access. A member can be given a default fleet role that applies across the organization's fleets, with per-fleet overrides where needed.
  • Invitations. New members join by invitation, which carries both their organization role and their intended default fleet role.
