Hosting and Data Residency
Where your data lives and how it is kept separate between organizations.
What data Rover Nexus stores
Rover Nexus stores the operational data needed to run your fleets, including:
- Organization and user records — accounts, organization membership, and roles.
- Fleet and robot records — robots, their enrollment identity, and configuration.
- Telemetry — robot position, status, and related real-time data.
- Mission and operation data — templates, schedules, run history, and map features.
- Audit records — a log of sensitive actions. See Auditing.
Tenant separation
Data is separated per tenant by organization. Each organization's robots, fleets, and records are scoped to that organization, and access is governed by role-based permissions. Sharing data with another organization happens only through explicit, bounded fleet sharing.
Hosting and regions
Rover Nexus runs on a United States–based cloud service provider, and your data is retained in the United States.
Data-retention periods are subject to per-customer contracts and plans. Contact [email protected] for the specifics that apply to your deployment. Currently Rover Nexus does not guarantee any data retention after a user deletes their data. Robot and device data will be retained for a minimum period of time that depends on the user's plan with Rover Nexus.
