Use Cases and Industries

Typical Rover Nexus workflows by industry — to help you picture the platform on your site.

Across every industry the pattern is the same: define a work area on the map, generate a plan, dispatch it to one or many robots, and supervise the job live. Rover Nexus orchestrates the job across whatever robots you have.

Construction

Map a site, mark keep-out zones, and run grading, compaction, or site-survey routes. Coordinate multiple machines as a multi-step operation and take manual control with teleop when a task needs a human in the loop.

Mining

Set up haul jobs that move material from a load point to a dump and back as a repeatable operation across a fleet. Monitor location, fuel, and faults in real time, and schedule recurring cycles to keep the loop running.

Agriculture

Draw a field boundary, then generate coverage paths — rows with a set working width, overlap, headlands, and row angle — for seeding, spraying, or mowing. Dispatch to any capable robot and schedule recurring passes through the season.

Forestry

Plan coverage and route work across uneven terrain, mark protected or hazard zones as keep-outs, and dispatch missions to robots equipped for the task. Use teleop for tricky sections and watch progress on the live map.

Solar

Run repeated coverage routes across panel arrays for cleaning, inspection, or vegetation control. Use spaced points or rows aligned to the array layout, and schedule recurring jobs to keep large sites maintained.

Industrial

Automate patrols, transport, and inspection routes around yards and facilities. Build multi-step operations across robots, gate dispatch on prerequisites like battery level, and govern who can do what with organization and fleet roles.
