Accept an Invitation

Goal: Accept an emailed invitation to join an organization, creating your account if you don't have one yet.

Before you begin

  • You need the invitation email sent to your address.
  • The invitation must still be valid (it shows an expiration date). If it has expired, ask the inviter to resend it.

Steps

  1. Open the invitation email and click the link to open the Organization Invitation page. It shows the organization name and the role you'll receive.
  2. Choose your path:
    • If you don't have an account yet, the Create Your Account form appears. Enter your Full Name and a Password (minimum 10 characters), then click Create Account. Your email is pre-filled from the invitation and can't be changed.
    • If you already have an account, sign in if prompted.
  3. Verify your email if asked. Open the verification email, follow its link, then return to the invitation page and reload.
  4. On the Organization Invitation page, click Accept Invitation.
  5. You're now a member. Click View My Organizations to see the organization on your Organizations page.

!!! note You must be signed in as the same email the invitation was sent to. If you see Wrong Account, sign out and sign back in with the correct address.
