Managing Fleets and Robots

Create and organize fleets, then add robots to them — all from the Fleet page.

Fleets

A fleet is a named collection of robots. Use fleets to group robots by site, team, or task.

Create a fleet

  1. In the Fleets sidebar, click Create Fleet.
  2. Enter a name and an optional description.
  3. Choose the owning organization, and optionally grant other organizations access (with a role and an optional expiration).
  4. Save.

If you have no fleets yet, an empty state offers Create your first fleet.

Edit or delete a fleet

  1. Select the fleet in the sidebar.
  2. Click the fleet name in the header to open the edit dialog.
  3. Update the name, description, or organization access, then save — or delete the fleet from the same dialog.

Editing is available only to users with permission on that fleet; viewers see a plain heading.

Robots

Add a robot

Click Add Robot in the header and fill in the robot details. Rover Nexus then shows a Robot Bootstrap Command (run once; it installs the agent and enrolls the robot automatically). For the full walkthrough, see Add a robot.

Edit or remove a robot

  1. Open the robot's detail view by clicking its card or table row.
  2. Use the edit controls to change its name, status, or fleet assignment.
  3. Use delete to remove the robot from the fleet.

Changes appear immediately in the grid and table.
