Import Map Data

Goal: Import a GeoJSON file into PathLab as map features (boundaries, routes, and zones).

Before you begin

  • You need a fleet selected and permission to create features (typically Fleet Planner or Fleet Manager).
  • Have a GeoJSON file ready, or the GeoJSON text to paste.

Steps

  1. In the top navigation, click PathLab.
  2. On the toolbar, click Load. The file import dialog opens.
  3. Provide your data:
    • Choose your GeoJSON file, or
    • Paste GeoJSON text into the text box.
  4. Set the Area Type so the imported shapes are categorized correctly.
  5. (Optional) In Feature Name, enter a name. Leave it blank to auto-detect the name from the file.
  6. Confirm to import. The features load onto the map.

Imported features start as draft layers. They aren't on the robots until you deploy them.
