Monitoring and Managing Operations
Open Operation in the PathLab sidebar to supervise the fleet's operation. The panel is an at-a-glance workspace for site managers and robot operators. It emphasizes progress, controls, and conditions that need attention.
Read the operation card
The operation card shows the current state, mission progress, and robot counts:

|---|---|
| State | Whether the operation is ready, running, blocked, paused, stopped, completed, or failed. |
| Mission progress | Progress reported for missions currently running as part of the operation. |
| Active | Robots currently working. |
| Idle | Robots assigned to the operation but not currently working. |
| Waiting | Robots that cannot continue until a condition changes or an operator acts. |
A blocked or waiting robot is not always a fault. For example, it may be waiting for another step, a suitable work location, a better GPS fix, or operator release.
Respond to action-needed controls
PathLab places operator actions near the top of the operation card:
- Set Spot: step: the operation needs a work location. Select the button, then click the intended location on the map. Select the button again, press Escape, or right-click to cancel placement.
- Finish step ยท robot: the robot has reached an operator-release point. Confirm that the step is complete and the area is safe, then select the button to let the robot continue.
Control the operation
Available controls depend on the operation state and your permissions:

| Start | Starts an operation that is ready but not running. |
| Stop | Stops dispatching operation work without clearing step progress. |
| Resume | Continues a stopped, paused, or blocked operation. |
| Stop & Reset / Reset | Stops the operation and clears its step runtime progress. PathLab asks you to confirm. |
| Schedule... | Schedules a start, stop, or restart command. See Scheduling Operations. |
| Abort Missions | When the operation is stopped, aborts missions that are still active without otherwise changing the operation. |
Caution. Resetting clears operation progress, and aborting missions interrupts robot work. Check robot positions and site conditions before confirming either action.
Check what needs attention
The lower part of the panel combines three operator-focused lists.
Active Faults
Shows current minor, major, and critical robot faults. Select a robot name to open its details. For informational faults and the complete fault view, open Faults.
Waiting Robots
Shows online robots that are part of the running operation but are not currently running a mission. Each row gives the reason the robot cannot continue and its expected next step.
Common reasons include:

| Awaiting Release | Confirm the step is complete, then use the matching Finish control. |
| No spot available | Use Set Spot if PathLab asks for a work location, or check whether the intended area is occupied. |
| Offline | Check robot power and connectivity. Offline robots also appear in the dedicated list. |
| Not accepting missions | Open the robot details and check its mission-acceptance state. |
| Mission Active | The robot is busy and should become available when its current mission ends. |
| Low battery / Low fuel | Service the robot or wait until it meets the operation's requirement. |
| Wrong GPS fix / Position too old | Check the robot's positioning status and environment. |
| Missing capability | The robot does not advertise an action required for the next work. |
| Waiting on: ... | A preceding operation step has not completed. |
| Awaiting command ack | The command was sent, but the robot has not confirmed it yet. |
Many conditions clear automatically. Escalate when a robot remains blocked longer than expected or when the same reason affects several robots.
Offline Robots
Shows disconnected fleet robots and when each was last seen. Select a robot name for details, or select its row to center the map on its last known position.
