Draw a Boundary
Goal: Draw a boundary or other feature directly on the PathLab map.
Before you begin
- You need a fleet selected and permission to create features (typically Fleet Planner or Fleet Manager).
- The map should be centered on the area you want to outline.
Steps
- In the top navigation, click PathLab.
- Select the polygon/boundary drawing tool to start a new boundary on the map.
- Click on the map to drop each corner point of your boundary, working around the perimeter.
- Click the first point again (or double-click) to close the shape and finish the boundary.
- (Optional) Give the feature a name and type so it's categorized correctly.
- Open the Features panel from the toolbar to review and rename your new layer.
The boundary starts as a draft. It isn't on the robots until you deploy it. To remove unsaved layers, use Clear Temporary Targets in the Features panel.
